Job Description: 

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer with expertise in Dart and Flutter to assist in developing our WiseWallet mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms. This is a 40-hour-per-week remote position with flexible hours, perfect for a junior developer eager to learn and contribute within a startup environment.

 

You will work closely with a dynamic team, developing innovative features and ensuring the app’s functionality aligns with our high standards for performance and usability.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team to develop, test, and deploy the WiseWallet mobile application for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart.

  • Contribute to the design and integration of user-friendly UI/UX features.

  • Integrate and work with RESTful APIs to connect with backend services.

  • Participate in debugging, code reviews, and performance optimizations.

  • Work with modern development tools and practices, including Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ensure seamless functionality across devices and screen sizes by working with adaptive and responsive design.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Primary Skills: Strong foundation in Dart and Flutter with hands-on experience in mobile app development.

  • Web Development Knowledge: Basic understanding or experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like React or Vue.js.

  • Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with Firebase, SQLite, or NoSQL databases is advantageous.

  • Version Control: Basic proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).

  • Backend Knowledge (Asset): Understanding of backend technologies, such as Node.js or Express.js is an asset.

  • Financial Knowledge (Asset): Some familiarity with financial or payment systems is advantageous.

  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of French is an asset.
